Investments

We are excited to announce the investment by the Jenson SEIS and EIS Fund 4 into BEUTiFi Ltd.

BEUTiFi.com is an online marketing platform and marketplace for the hair and beauty sectors launched by a management team with a huge amount of relevant industry experience. Like JustEat or Opentable, BEUTiFi.com is a platform that allows consumers to discover the best salons, read reviews and to book appointments online in real time through its website.

With over 1800 salon customer’s to-date, it enables hair salons, beauty salons and freelance professionals to recruit new clients, fill empty timeslots, capture client reviews, take online appointments and grow their revenues through a number of innovative online tools ranging from a marketplace profile to a full salon website.

The salon booking industry has seen a massive growth in the last number of years with a 22% growth in google searches for hair and beauty related services in 2015. However, industry research shows that 70% are still offline and 90% of salons are still unable to deal with online bookings. BEUTiFi’s primary goal is to disrupt the industry with its leading technology platform, which takes the headache away from salons & professionals to get to get their business online and market to new customers.

Richard Spence is the Founder and CEO of BEUTiFi Ltd. Working in L’Oreal for 3 years in a sales management role, he then joined CarTrawler at a very early stage working with one of the founders of the company in growing the supply side of the business before moving to the role of Head of Sales for Europe and Oceanic Regions. Richard was instrumental in growing the business internationally and taking this car rental start up to over 180 countries. CarTrawler sold twice during his time there.

Richard commented: “We are delighted to have received this investment from Jensen Solutions, who share our vision of moving the salon sector online. This investment will help us grow our team and customer base in Ireland, the UK and beyond with the goal of becoming the largest provider of new clients to salons globally”.
