About Us

Jenson Solutions was set-up in 2001 by Paul Jenkinson, an experienced Finance Director. Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche and then spent a number of years in corporate finance raising money for early stage companies from a variety of sources (including: banks, business angels, venture capitalists and via stock market flotations). Paul then spent a number of years working on mergers and acquisitions, corporate disposals, management buy-outs and management buy-ins. Paul then became Finance Director of a software business floating it on OFEX (now PLUS) and following that became interim Finance Director for an AIM quoted software company.

In 2001 Paul set-up Jenson Solutions in order to provide Finance Directors more efficiently to small to medium sized organisations. Clients range in size from start-ups through to fully listed companies quoted on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.

We work closely with a number of venture capital and private equity firms providing financial due diligence services, interim Finance Directors, and consultancy services to their investments.

We also work closely with a group of private investors who often provide equity and debt funding to our clients.

Jenson Solutions now provides services throughout the UK and continues to expand.

Vision

Our vision is to help small to medium sized organisations achieve their potential. We believe this is best achieved by providing the managers and owners of businesses as much support as required.

We believe the main role of the Finance Director is to help businesses to manage the competing demands within their business between: risk, cash, profit, growth and strategy. Each decision a business makes can affect each of these areas differently and we believe it is the role of the Finance Director to provide the managers of a business with the tools to make the right decisions. However, many Finance Directors get swamped by issues around compliance, information provision and cash flow management and therefore struggle to contribute fully to the aspirations of their business.
